Connect scoco to Claude, ChatGPT and others

Through https://mcp.scoco.ai/mcp you connect Claude, ChatGPT or another AI tool to your account, choose what it may read, and disconnect it again at any time.

For all roles

Open in dashboard
On this page

A connected AI tool answers questions from your scoco account: "Who called today?", "Which callbacks are still open?", "Why was this morning's call put through?". When you are done, you know what an app may read, how to connect it and how to disconnect it again.

What a connected app may do

An app reads with your access, never with more. What it sees depends on your role and on what you allow when you connect.

  • Every role: calls with their summary and result, open tickets, contacts, appointments, the overview's call numbers, the list of assistants and the help articles.
  • Owners and admins also: the assistants' settings, rules, knowledge and knowledge gaps, earlier versions, why a call was handled the way it was, and tests: how the rules would handle a call and what the assistant would answer to a question.
  • Owners also: a month's usage.
  • Call transcripts only when an owner or admin shares them with AI tools (see Policy).

An app can change something only if you allowed changes when connecting, with Read & change or under Customise …. Even then it only proposes each change, with a summary and a link: only you can apply the change, in scoco. Phone numbers and changes that cost money stay in the dashboard. Billing, the team, phone numbers, data deletion and security are never possible.

Connect

  1. In your AI app, add a custom connector with the address https://mcp.scoco.ai/mcp. The address and the steps for Claude, ChatGPT and others are also under SettingsAI access in the Connect card, with Copy address. In full: Claude, ChatGPT.
  2. The app opens a browser window with the scoco sign-in. Sign in as you do in the dashboard.
  3. The page Connect an AI tool names the app and asks what it may do. Read only is preselected, or exactly what the app asks for if that is less.
  4. Click Allow access. You continue in the app.

Claude and ChatGPT carry the mark Known app on the page when you connect them as their guide describes. Every other app shows Unknown app — only allow access if you connected this app yourself just now. Then check that you really started the connection yourself. Otherwise click Cancel.

See and disconnect connections

  1. Open SettingsAI access. Under Your connected apps each connection shows what it may do right now and when it was last used. Owners and admins see Connected apps in the team here.
  2. Click Disconnect next to the app and confirm with Disconnect. The app loses access at once.

This way owners and admins can disconnect any connection in the team. If you change or reset your password, scoco disconnects all your connections. The same happens when your second factor is reset.

The policy

Owners and admins set what applies to every connection of the account under SettingsAI access, in the Policy card:

  • Allow AI tools: switched off, no app gets data from the account any more.
  • Highest level: Read only limits every connection to reading, including one that was allowed more.
  • Share call transcripts with AI tools: transcripts contain your callers' words, so the switch stays off until you turn it on. It applies to new connections: to read transcripts in an app that is already connected, connect it again and allow it there.
  • Allow known apps only: the known apps are currently Claude and ChatGPT, connected as their guide describes. Switched on, everything else gets no access: every other app, including one already connected, a connection with custom OAuth settings, and an API key at the MCP address.

Apply changes with Save.

Privacy and limits

  • What an app reads goes to its provider, for example to Anthropic for Claude or to OpenAI for ChatGPT. Check that this fits your data protection records before you share customer data.
  • A connection makes at most 60 requests a minute and 2,000 a day. Tests of rules and knowledge are limited to 300 per account and day, because each test asks an AI model. Days count in UTC.
  • For each connection scoco counts per day how often it used which tool. scoco keeps these counts for 400 days. It does not store what the app read.
  • scoco deletes a connection disconnected in scoco for good 90 days later.

Common problems

The app says a tool does not exist. Your role does not cover it. Only owners and admins see settings, rules and knowledge; only owners see usage.

The app reports "This connection may not do that". You did not allow it when you connected, or the policy does not permit it. Connect the app again and choose more, or ask your owner or admin about the policy.

An app or an API key at the MCP address gets no access. Is Allow known apps only switched on in the Policy? Then this setting blocks everything except Claude and ChatGPT connected as their guide describes. An owner or admin switches it off and clicks Save.

The app shows No access at the moment. The text below it names the reason, for example AI tools switched off in the policy. If your account requires two-factor sign-in, the app of a person without it gets no access. Once they have set it up, they connect the app again if needed.
