scoco.ai

11:30, the colour is going on. Both hands in somebody’s hair, and the phone ringing for the third time.

The AI secretary for your salon

scoco.ai takes bookings and cancellations while you are working on a client: service, preferred time, name and callback number in full, prices and opening hours from your knowledge base. You never take the gloves off again.

You can’t pick up. Not “bad timing” — you physically cannot.

A colour takes 30 to 90 minutes. For all of it your hands are in gloves and in somebody else’s hair. Picking up means: gloves off, keep the client waiting, wash your hands, take the call, start again — for one call. Whoever reaches voicemail rings the next salon; an appointment is interchangeable. And the cancellation nobody takes becomes an empty chair you only notice when nobody arrives.

Example scenario

What is the phone costing you each week?

scoco.ai: from €49 per month (plus VAT).

A scenario with your own numbers — move the sliders.

Five calls you know

The second is the most valuable, and it is the only one where the timing decides the whole of a time slot’s takings.

  • Appointment request

“I need an appointment for a cut and colour.” scoco asks for the service, the preferred window, the name and the callback number, reads the number back digit by digit, and books into a free slot in your calendar within your bookable hours.

Result for you: the appointment is made without you taking the gloves off.

  • Cancellation and rescheduling

“I’m afraid I can’t make this afternoon.” scoco takes the name, the appointment affected and the reason, asks straight away about a replacement, and reports the cancellation immediately.

Result for you: you learn at 12 that the 3 o’clock is free — not at 3 o’clock.

  • Price and service enquiry

“What does balayage cost with you?” scoco answers from your knowledge base, word for word as you wrote it, and offers an appointment there and then. No binding price — the price depends on hair length and how much work it is, and scoco says so.

Result for you: the price question becomes a consultation instead of a hung-up phone.

  • Standard question

“How late are you open? Can I park? Do you take cards?” scoco answers it from your knowledge base.

Result for you: you are no longer interrupted for opening hours.

  • New client

“A colleague recommended you.” scoco takes the name, callback number, the service they want and who recommended you, and books straight away if wanted.

Result for you: the recommendation arrives instead of landing on voicemail.

What reaches the salon

Text message to the salon, 11:33:

scoco - Cancellation - Salon Muster
Client: Ms Meike H.
Callback: 0176 5556677
Cancelled: today, 15:00,
cut and colour (approx. 2 hrs)
Reason: taken ill at short notice
Would prefer: next week, Thursday
afternoon if possible
Received: 11:33
The 15:00 slot is free again.

scoco cannot refill from a waiting list today — that is on the roadmap. What it can do is tell you the slot is free while it can still be filled.

How scoco.ai books your appointments

You set your bookable hours per weekday, a slot length, a buffer between appointments and a lead time. scoco books only into slots that are genuinely free in your calendar and fall within those hours. Not into ones that merely look free.

  • What scoco cannot do today

The slot length applies to the whole salon, not per service. A men’s cut and a cut and colour take up the same slot. And it does not know which stylist does which service or who is at which chair.

  • What that means for you

For a salon with one or two chairs it makes no difference. If who does the work matters to you, or your services vary widely in length, scoco takes the request and you allocate. Booking with a particular stylist is on the roadmap; we are not selling it to you before it exists.

And what about my online booking?

Online booking and the phone are two different clients. Whoever books online has already decided and knows what they want. Whoever rings wants to ask: whether it will work with her hair colour, how long it takes, whether there is anything left on Saturday. And the regular who has been coming for twelve years rings. Always. scoco does not replace your online booking and does not compete with it — it closes the gap both leave open: the call that comes while you are standing over somebody’s head.

Three ways to hand the phone over.

  • During the appointment

The forwarding kicks in when nobody picks up within a few seconds. If somebody is at reception, they answer as always.

  • After closing and on your closing day

Appointments for tomorrow get made this evening, and on Mondays the phone rings anyway.

  • Always

scoco answers first, books the standard services itself and passes on everything you have to decide.

Your booking system

Live and verified: Google and Microsoft calendars, Google and Microsoft contacts, the scoco team inbox, and handover by text message and email. Everything else is on request.

  • Treatwellon request
  • Shoreon request
  • Phoreston request
  • Fresha, salonized, Studiobookron request

Your booking system is not directly connected — with no provider in this market. scoco books into your Google or Outlook calendar. If your salon system mirrors its calendar there, scoco sees your real availability. If not, the request arrives complete by text message and you enter it — still better than a callback that never happens.

What scoco.ai expressly does not do for you

Neither hair nor skin can be assessed over the phone. So what scoco says about them is nothing — it notes and hands over.

  • No hair analysis, no colour consultation, no assessment of skin over the phone.
  • No binding price. scoco gives the price range you have stored and says that the final price is discussed in the salon.
  • No commitment to a particular stylist.
  • No statement about tolerance, allergies or previous treatments. Anyone reporting one is handed over as a callback.
  • No commitment about missed-appointment fees or waiving them.
  • No booking into times the calendar does not show as free.

Someone on reception who is mostly on the phone costs you €2,236 a month, plus employer contributions, plus holiday, plus sick days — and in a salon with three chairs that does not pay for itself — which is exactly why nobody answers today. scoco.ai costs from €49 per month and is there precisely when your hands are not.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

My regulars want to speak to me.

And they reach you — when you can talk. scoco answers when your hands are in gloves, and that is the alternative to voicemail, not to you. Anyone who wants to speak to you personally gets a callback with all the details.

Does scoco know how long a colour takes?

No, and we would rather say so plainly: scoco books with a slot length that applies to the whole salon — not with a duration per service. A men’s cut and a cut and colour take up the same slot. If your services vary widely, set the slot length to your most common service and have the rest handed over as a request.

I already have online booking.

Then keep it. Whoever books online has decided; whoever rings wants to ask. scoco catches the calls your online booking never reaches — and those are mostly your regulars.

What happens with a cancellation?

Exactly what does not happen today: you hear about it immediately. scoco takes the cancellation, asks about a replacement appointment and tells you the slot is free again — while it can still be filled. It cannot refill automatically from a waiting list today; that is on our roadmap.

Does scoco quote prices?

Only the ones you have stored, and always with the note that the final price depends on hair length and how much work it is and is discussed in the salon. It gives no binding quote — it cannot see the hair.

And if somebody asks about an allergy or a previous treatment?

Then scoco says nothing about it and notes it as a callback. There is no colour consultation over the phone, not even the beginnings of one.

What does it cost?

From €49 per month for 500 included minutes, plus VAT. Four weeks free, no payment details. Cancellable monthly, no setup fee.
